All-American Quitters

11-Oct-2011

I mentioned in our September recap that BBC News called Tara to question her sanity for leaving a secure job as creative director vice president to start a new business adventure with me.

What I didn’t mention is that the BBC News journalist, Kate Dailey, found Tara through my personal blog. While I like to think reporters are following my every word to keep their finger on the pulse of what lifestyle bloggers have to say about any given topic, I think maybe in actuality the BBC reporter probably just Googled something like “AND WHAT ABOUT HEALTH INSURANCE?” and landed on my post about starting a new business with Tara in the middle of an alleged economic crisis.

Have you ever made any brave leaps when the conditions are seemingly against you? Let’s commiserate in the comments.
