Our adventure in branding a juice truck started with a road trip that took us to a rugged ranch in Austin hill country that we would share with a very pregnant longhorn. And from there it was just a hop and a skip to South Congress, the center of activity & creativity and a thriving food truck culture. That’s where we met up with Ryan and Paige - two world travelers who needed a brand for their brand new adventure - starting a juice truck.
We captured the work (and method) in progress on our iPhones - and now with a little bit of lo-fi shaping, editing and scoring we’re ready to share the story of our Austin, Texas road trip with you. Stay tuned for more branding adventures from Braid Creative. And check out more adventures from Ryan and Paige at their travel blog, Pushpin Diaries.
UPDATE:

So cool, y'all. Congrats on the launch. (and I HAVE to mention my uncle Steve's shop, Uncommon Objects, that made a cameo in the video. w00t!)
Scott - Small world! Your uncle Steve only has the coolest shop EVER. Tara was so tempted to take some snaps of the inspiring interior but I warned her about their strict no-photo policy.
WOW. you put people with actual DSLR's and years of video editing to shame. It may also be because I'm pmsing somthing fierce, but the music combined with the poignant ending line made me tear up. You ladies are serious inspirations and I'm so excited to see everything you come up with. Cheers!!
Thanks, Merl! What a compliment! We're looking forward to making more lo-fi branding adventures as well as video productions with you know... budgets. But we can't always promise baby longhorns.
Hahahaha I was just getting tears in my eyes with the music and the ending then read the last comment and definitely agreed... then i realized it was Merl. [she's my twin from another mother ... and father ... and country...]
I absolutely love these videos, the music, the 'behind the scenes' it almost makes me wanna be a freelance designer... almost. And I feel like my stalking you guys has just come to a new level since I know what your voices sound like. [and your hint of an accent]
Ha, thanks Emily! We like to reward our own hard work by making videos that make people cry. It's one of the perks of the job. ;)
